SOUS CHEF: Join our team in our busy, well established, Buffalo, NY restaurant. Buffalo is growing and so are we! We are looking for a positive, energetic, professional who will be 2nd in command. Come and help our Chef keep our kitchen in it’s remarkable state. If you feel that you can walk in and lead a staff who has been in place for several years – knowing they have as much to teach you as you do them – then you are the right fit for us! Must have 10 years of kitchen experience with at least 5 in fine dining and proven leadership skills. Must be able to work well under pressure (as we have some extremely busy times) and be able to delegate tasks to the entire kitchen staff when there is downtime (clean don’t lean). Cheerful, calm attitude is definitely required. This is a full time position during dinner service. Alternate closing hours and occasional Sundays required. Position starts at $17 / hour with raise and health insurance benefits available after 90 days. Professional references are required.
MAINTENANCE/DISHWASHER: We are looking for a positive, energetic, reliable person to keep our dining area spotless and handle the dish station one night per week and at lunchtime during spring/summer months. Previous restaurant experience is a must. This job starts at $12 / hour with a raise and health insurance benefits available after 90 days. Must be available Tuesday - Sunday starting with 20 - 24 hours going to 28 hours once we open for lunch. Professional references are required.
